An Experience

I have never heard anyone wanting to have a 2nd hand experience. No one has ever asked me to eat their lunch and dinner and tell them how it was. Everyone wants to have their own experience. Whether it be through food, vacations, intimacy, etc… Leading worship this Sunday was like a breath of fresh air. I didn’t care of the fact that I had just arrived, I was deprived of sleep, and the fact that I had been traveling for 2days from Chi-town. Regardless, I was ready to have my worship experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the life Pointe community, but that was not my concern. I had to lead everyone as one before God because that was expected of me. Considering I was not yet acquainted with the band nor leaders, there was an amazing atmosphere at the theatre. I am so excited cause I know the best of all of us is yet to be seen. One thing is for sure life Pointe, Seize your moment on Sunday, have your experience, seek the face of God and acknowledge who he is in your life. Here is what to expect, CHANGE! In what? you may ask. In everything. There is so much power in worship when you truly believe and take that risk. I truly believe we will be set free, healed, transformed, the list can go on and on. From all the worship experiences I have ever read about and seen, there’s never been one without an amazing outcome and ending. I ain’t trying to get all holy holy on ya”ll, but its so true. From the minute you walk into the door it begins. If you were going to meet the Queen of England or your hero, would you just show up? I bet you would be up early in the morning getting ready to be a your best, what will you say, where and smell like haha!. Give it a shot on Sunday. Get up early, get ready, prepare yourself, your heart, your mind and soul. Expect the unexpected! What do you think? What do you expect. Hit me up with a comment.

Jesse, aka “fuser” pronounced ( foo- ser ” in spanish,) not fuzer hahaha…much love Life Pointe!!!. Glad to be here.

Side note: So why do people back home call me fuser? Simple. It all started with my brother Alex. There is a movie called “Motorcycle Diaries” where the character’s nickname was “fuser”. For some odd reason my brother felt I reminded him of this character. Before you knew it, my whole family, Friends, and band followers were calling me fuser. So that’s my nickname story and I am sticking to it.

    Jesse,

This is a great description of worship!
Can’t wait to come down and experience your leadership “1st hand”. Blessings to you and your family.

  • Thanks Paul, can’t wait to finally meet you dude. I am an eager mind ready to conquer the world, Can’t wait to chat.

  • Paul,

When are you going to start blogging, bro?!?!

  • Jesse, sounds exciting! I too have worked with many celebrities: Jim Belushi, Chevy Chase, Peter Weller, Keifer Sutherlund, Marg Helenberger & the rest of the cast in California & Vegas of CSI, Jennifer Garner with Alias, John Savage,Matthew Perry, etc. Met so many more living in Vegas & working in Hollywood California, mostly as a stand-in for the lead actors! Such fun! Was also very involved in a popular radical band in vegas, as well as comedies, shows & impersonations, plays, Tv spots, & publicity stunts. I AM extremely interested in your ideas to use it all in ministry too. I am just getting started to actually put into formation my life story which I have plan to eventually throw onto film. Hope to hear back from you soon. Chaachi
